Abstract
This article presents a LoRa-based automated device to control irrigation in the garden based on data from sensors monitoring the environment. The device also sends all data via its private IoT LoRa network or public LoRaWAN network. The measured data are also distributed via the internet to the Thingspeak channel. This device is mounted on a PCB and its operation is backed up by its own accumulator (operation about 3-4 weeks), although permanent connection to the mains is assumed.
