Abstract
Návrh reaguje na stávající stavby a historickou zástavbu. Důležitým prvkem je výrazná poloha nároží. Navržený objekt navazuje na štíty ústící do parcely a doplňuje tak hmotu dle historické polohy zástavby na nároží. Dále potom pokračuje uvnitř bloku a vytváří tak klidný veřejný vnitroblok hmotou stavby odcloněný od hlučné křižovatky ulic Bratislavská-Stará- Körnerova. Parter je navržen jako transparentní a vzdušná komerční zóna, převážně tvořena prosklenými výlohami a opticky tak nadnáší opticky hmotnější část objektu. Parter také ustupuje dovnitř parcely a rozšiřuje tak pěší komunikaci okolo stavby. Do vnitrobloku ústí tři průchody, jejichž rozmístění vychází z rozměrů parcely. Z kratší strany objektu v ulici Bratislavské lze projít jedním průchodem. Z delší strany v ulici Staré se nacházejí průchody dva. Průchody mají vnést do vnitrobloku život a nasměrovat lidi, aby vnitroblokem procházeli. Ke zdůraznění nároží a také průchodů je navržena nárožní kompozice tří, do sebe zasazených kostek, které stoupají a tvoří tak nejvyšší bod objektu. Směrem k nároží hmota roste a naopak dle tradic do vnitrobloku hmota klesá pomocí úskoků, které tak reagují na měřítko a různé výškové úrovně střech okolních objektů.
The proposal responds to the existing buildings and historic buildings. An important feature is the strong position of the corner.
