Abstract
In this paper, different kinds of level sensor are described. The way of measurement of engine oil is clarified. The principle of ultrasonic senzor is explained, because own oil level senzor is based on ultrasonic wave. The best version is predicted by numerical model. Also the dependence of velocity of ultrasonic wave on oil temperature is examined.
