Business Intelligence ve firemním prostředí

Abstract

Diplomová práca je postavená tak, aby zoznámila čitateľov s pojmom Business Intelligence, rovnako ako aj s pojmom Power BI a jeho využitím vo firemnej sfére. V úvodnej teoretickej časti priblížim význam pojmov Business Intelligence, reportingu, PowerPivot a Power BI. V nasledujúcej návrhovej časti porovnám dostupné riešenia BI, priblížim tvorbu dátového modelu v Power BI a následne budem prezentovať vizuály a reporty, ktoré budú ďalej publikované na serveri Power BI.

The diploma thesis is built to acquaint readers with the concept of Business Intelligence, as well as with the concept of Power BI and its use in the corporate sphere. In the introductory theoretical part, I will explain the importance of Business Intelligence, reporting, PowerPivot, and Power BI. In the following design part, I will compare the available BI solutions, describe the creation of a data model in Power BI and then create visuals and reports that will be published on the Power BI server.
