Thales LAS France currently has parts of their system that are manufactured by forging or casting. Nowadays the tools and equipment for those processes are getting worn, the sub-contracting company in charge of some of casted parts can’t guarantee the quality of those parts anymore. Moreover, Thales recently has set up a plant specialized in metallic additive manufacturing and the policy of production is to encourage the production in that subsidiary. In order to adress those issues, Thales LAS France managed to prepare his design office for designing parts that will be 3D printed. My function is to establish a methodology for the mechanical design of parts that will be manufactured in additive manufacturing. Once the researches about the process and the different technologies will be done, I will establish steps that must be achieve for the mechanical design of a piece or a system. The methodology will take into account the physical properties that can be guaranteed by the process and their flaws such as the porosity for instance, the constraint linked to the technology and if possible apply to the part a topological optimization. Diplomant seznámil komisi s obsahem a výsledky své diplomové práce a zodpověděl otázky oponentů. V průběhu obhajoby byly položeny následující doplňující otázky: Can you highlight the topic of your work? Selected melting. What does it mean? Do you know the parameters of the technology? Otázky členů komise byly zodpovězeny.Result of the defence
