dc.description.abstractA new version of the microstrip-to-waveguide transition is described and analyzed. It is the E-plane transition, where the stripe probe is substituted by a rectangular patch. The structure is very simple, easily adjustable, it has a broad band and there is no need to use an impedance transformer. This transition has been analyzed using the method of minimal autonomous blocks and the integral equation method. The obtained results were compared with experimental data. The agreement is good.en
