The objective of the Thesis was to create a tool, that supports price-setting decisions in the environment of repairing mobile phones. The tool needs to be clear, swift and easy to use. In the first part of the Thesis, the author introduced the firm he was working with, as well as its key issues and specifics. The author then focuses on the topic of mobile phone repairs which stand for 18% of revenues and it is a difficult are in terms price setting, as various pricing criteria complicate decision making process of price setting. Then, fuzzy logic was briefly introduced using several impacted sources. Fuzzy logic is an approach providing perspective for decision-making processes. It aims at taking into account multiple various criteria and their interdependency. The practical part begins by identification, definition and analysis of all relevant pricing criteria using the fuzzification principle. Then athe author proceeds to data analysis and modeling using MS Excel and MATLAB. In MS Excel he creates the input state matrix including several supporting matrices in order to analyze the input variables. The author correctly took into account the severity and specific nature of the main criterion (type of component). MATLAB offers more advanced solution, having a specialized fuzzy logic toolbox directly integrated. This offers to define more elaborate rule logic in order to more precisely model the interference part of fuzzy logic. MS Excel is more restricted in this regard. It is higly appreciated, that the author made the effort to validate and fine-tune his solution on a real case during the proposal process in order to deliver more complete solution later on. After delivering the solution, follow-up activities took place and author's contribuion evaluation has been concluded. This is when most students' project fail, the author therefore demonstrates high level of maturity and real business thinking. Examples provided by the author clearly confirm usefulness of the proposed solution. The author applied a logical structure to the Thesis and took his time with careful argument building to reach his goals. Charts, tables and charts are used abundantly, making the Thesis easy to read. Typographical imperfections suggest author's tight schedule. Author's use of language is inspirational and demonstrates high level of fluency as well as diverse vocabulary.
