Abstract

Článek interpretuje různé definice místa, nejprve obecně, poté se zaměřením na náměstí a parky. Hledá v nich definici pro parková náměstí, popisuje jejich prostorový a funkční charakter a kompoziční principy.

The square is always the centre, in any way of meaning and in any large of space. The first squares were rised up together with the first cities. Their function was developed together with the society, but their basic function act as a meeting space be much accounted of its purity. The city park is the specific nature of the city landscape. It became the part of the city at the same time of the city widespread, during this period the real nature became out of reach for most of citizens. The space of the park is fill in vegetation, its function is primary recreational and hygienic. My work interprets the famous definition of the park and cities and confronts them with the reality of the particular spaces. In virtue of this information, it is trying to find the definition for the park squares. The definition describes their importance for the city, thier space, function and the compositional principles.
