dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a novel practical method for evaluating the local sensing performance of the participating users in collaborative spectrum sensing in cognitive radio networks. The proposed method considers data delivery as a base to evaluate the local sensing performance of each user. Moreover, the proposed method does not rely on any prior information about users. The estimated local sensing performance of all users is used further to evaluate the global performance of the whole network. Mathematical analysis and simulation results demonstrate the high accuracy of the proposed method.en
