Abstract
Práce je zaměřena na nalezení optimálního a nového motoru pro PS-28 Sport Cruiser, pro větší výkon a tah. Rotax 912 ULS je v současné době jediným motorem, který klient této práce (Czech Aircraft Works, dále jen CZAW) instaluje do letadel Sport Cruiser. Tato čtyřválcová pohonná jednotka má maximální vzletový výkon 100 hp. Pro náročnější zákazníky bude nabídka rozšířena o Lycoming O-235-L2C, což je také čtyřválcový motor s maximálním vzletovým výkonem 118 koní. Což znamená, že společnost bude mít větší možnost a klient bude mnohem spokojenější.
The thesis is focused to find optimal and new engine for PS-28 Sport Cruiser, for more power and thrust. The Rotax 912 ULS is currently the only engine that the client of this work (Czech Aircraft Works, hereinafter CZAW) installs into Sport Cruiser aircraft. This four-cylinder power unit has a maximum take-off power of 100 hp. For more demanding customers, the offer will be expanded by Lycoming O-235-L2C, which is also four-cylinder engine with maximum take-off power 118 hp. Which means, company will have bigger option and client gonna be much more satisfied.

Student presented his Master´s thesis within the specified time schedule. Following questions were asked by expert committee about the Master's thesis, presentation and related topics. Student commented following topics: 1) Wrong CoG position calculation, student admitted wrong reference coordinate system 2) What was the problem of references? Student admitted, that he forgot to make references and sources are mainly form one webpage. 3) Engine mount => own design made by student, fastening points were measured on the real aircraft 4) Analyses of the engine mount - student said, that sizes were taken from similar engine mounts (as e.g. Rotax), no calculation was performed 5) Stress calculations were missing - student admits, there is no analysis and its important for thesis 6) How was the vD calculated in the flight envelope and for which input values? Why is 2-times bigger? Calculations were shown by student, however no clear answer presented. 7) How was the vH calculated? Without answer. 8) Picture 26 (p.43): what does the red line mean and green & blue point? Student is not able to explain. Presented Master´s thesis is not in conformance with the university education standard. The main goals of the thesis were not fulfilled. Typographic standards for university defence thesis were not fulfilled and the thesis suffer fatal quotation deficiencies, including copying data from website. Results are of poor quality and student´s interpretation is not in coherence with the minimum VUT standard. Moreover, student didn´t make clear the critisized points from the reviews during the final defence.
