Abstract
Éra ťažby neobnoviteľných zdrojov v Karvinsku sa pomaly končí. Uhlie, ktoré dávalo územiu charakteristický ráz a život sa postupne stáva jednou z etáp histórie. Problematika obnovy územia po ukončení ťažby v uhoľných baniach obnáša mnoho aspektov. Okrem regenerácie brownfieldov po budovách banských spoločností so sebou nesie aj ekologickú revitalizáciu územia, ekonomické a sociologické aspekty. Banícka činnosť bola dlhé roky súčasťou kultúry a histórie týchto regiónov, preto treba citlivo pristupovať k tejto regionálnej industriálnej identite a nájsť cestu udržateľnosti a ekológie v kontexte premeny krajiny. V práci sa študenti budú venovať oblasti šikmého kostola- sv. Petra z Alkantary. Šikmý kostol je jedna z posledných historických stôp, ktorá ostala po pôvodnom meste Karvinná, zaniknutému vplyvom poddolovania oblasti. Kostol spolu s dolmi Barbora a Gabriela vytyčujú územie dlhé roky prežívajúce hlavne kvôli ťažbe uhlia, ktoré ho nakoniec zahubilo. Toto unikátne miesto, kde príroda postupne prekrýva stopy po banskej činnosti z predchádzajúcich rokov, ukrýva množstvo nových ekosystémov a nevyužitý potenciál. Diplomová práca sa bude zaoberať skúmaním možných stratégií pre obnovu takéhoto územia, ktoré aplikuje do konkrétnych urbanistických a architektonických riešení. Riešenia by mali dať lokalite nové podnety na rozvoj a inovácie a zároveň zachovať a sprístupniť industriálnu históriu regiónu širšej verejnosti.
The era of mining non-renewable resources in the Karviná region is slowly coming to an end. The coal, which gave the region its specific character and life, is slowly becoming a history. The issue of land recovery after the end of mining has many aspects. In addition to the regeneration of brownfields of mining companies, it also entails ecological revitalization of the area, economic and sociological aspects. Mining has been part of the culture and history of these regions for many years, so we need to be sensitive to this regional industrial identity and find a way to sustainability and ecology in the context of landscape transformation. In the project, students will focus on the area of the St. Peter's Church of Alkantara “leaning church”. The leaning church is one of the last historical footprints left by the original town of Karvinná, which disappeared due to the undermining and subsequent landslides of the land. Today the church together with the Barbora and Gabriela mines defines an area that has lived for many years- mainly due to coal mining, which eventually destroyed it. This unique place, where nature gradually overlaps the traces of mining activity from the past, hides a number of new ecosystems and untapped potential. It the thesis, the research of possible strategies for the restoration of such an area will be made, which results will be applied to specific urban and architectural solutions. The solutions should bring a new drive for an upcoming development and innovation, while preserving the region's industrial history and bringing it to a general public.

- Studentka prezentovala komplexně vlastní koncept „pohybu fragmentů v krajině“, regenerace krajiny a stabilizace nově navržených staveb jako bodů pozorování, využitelného provozu / továrny se cider ovocnářské produkci a doplňkovým obchodně vzdělávacím centrem
- Autorka jasně zodpověděla dotazy oponenta
- Komise v rozpravě kladla doplňující otázky ke koncepci krajinných zásahů a potenciálu návrhu v budoucím vývoji, variability brownfieldů, stability území. Autorka přesvědčivě a logicky odpovídala ve snaze objasnit i nastíněný potenciál. Otázky statiky a konstrukce by zasloužila přesvědčivější odpovědi a řešení.
