Abstract
Výtvarné umění a hudba, umělecká odvětví, která využívají odlišné výrazové prostředky, ale jejichž kořeny jsou společné. Mohou vyrůstat bok po boku a vzájemně se inspirovat, nebo se proplétat v harmonický celek. Aby toto propojení mohlo vůbec vzniknout a efektivně se rozvíjet, je nutné pro ně zajistit vhodné prostory, vytvořit umělecký inkubátor, kde výsledky umělecké tvorby budou inspirací a podnětem k další činnosti, ať už výtvarné nebo hudební. Budova Laborartory Brno poskytne prostory pro vzdělávání, uměleckou tvorbu a její prezentaci. Galerie architektury, designu a soudobého umění bude jejím srdcem a společenská zařízení tepnami rozvádějícími život.
Music and visual art use different ways of expression, but their roots are common. They can grow up side by side and inspire each other, or create a harmonious unit. To make this connection it is necessary to provide suitable spaces, create an artistic incubator, where the results of artistic creation will be an inspiration and encouragement to other activities, whether art or music. Laborartory Brno will provide spaces for education, artistic creation and presentation. Gallery of Architecture, Design and Contemporary Art will be the heart and the social facilities will be the arteries distributing life.
