Abstract
Zadaná nárožná parcela sa nachádza na okraji centra mesta Brna na križovatke ulíc Stará a Bratislavská. Stavebný pozemok má výmeru 3402 m2. Navrhnuté riešenie reaguje na urbanistické súvislosti, pešie trasy a potreby mesta. Hlavným cieľom bolo vytvorenie polyfunkčného mestského domu zahŕňajúceho v sebe bývanie, komerciu, telocvičňu a parkovanie. Koncept telocvične vychádza z polohy a možnosti, ktorú poskytuje daná stavebná parcela, a rovnako z potreby neďalekej základnej a materskej školy na ulici Stará. Nakoľko jej súčasná telocvičňa je z kapacitných dôvodov už nedostačujúca. V čase mimoškolskej výučby bude telocvičňa určená verejnosti. Dôležitým zámerom bolo taktiež vytvorenie pred priestoru pre divadlo Radosť, ktoré je situované v tesnej blízkosti riešeného územia, a tak dotvorenie jeho dôstojného vstupu. Objekt je tvorený dvoma základnými hmotami, ktoré majú rôzne výškové členenie. Medzi tieto hmoty je vsunutá samotná hmota telocvične, vytvárajúca tak vyvýšenú platformu. Návrh reaguje na okolie a jeho charakter svojou nadväznosťou na rímsy susedných objektov. Daným hmotovým usporiadaním sú jasne vymedzené tri priestory medzi objektmi s rôznorodým charakterom. Pred divadlom vzniká verejná piazzetta, dodávajúca mu kultúrny význam. Medzi objektmi na vyvýšenej platforme vzniká poloverejný priestor vnútrobloku s detským ihriskom a v severnej časti parcely je navrhnutý polosúkromný priestor zelene so súkromnými. Stavba taktiež uplatňuje princípy trvale udržateľného rozvoja.
Selected site is located on the outskirts of the city centre of Brno, at a crossroad of streets Stará and Bratislavská. The area of the site is 3402 m2. The building is designed to respond to urban disposition, pedestrian paths and needs of the city. Main goal of the project was to design a polyfunctional building which includes housing units, parking lot, shops and also sports hall. The proposal of sports hall is based on connection with possibilities of the site and needs of nearby preschool and elementary school which is dealing with issues of its sports hall unsatisfactory capacity. The sports hall will be also available for general public. Another goal of the project was design of area in front of entrance of Radosť theater which is situated next to the site. The building consists of two main parts with different heights. The sports hall is also integrated to the object with height separation from main parts. The object was sensibly incorporated to adjacent buildings. This layout clearly defines three main spaces between the parts of building with distinct features. There is public piazzetta located in front of the Radosť theater which supports its cultural significance. Between the two main parts there is semipublic open space which includes children playground. Semiprivate space is situated on the north side of the object and offers rentable gardens. The building was designed with consistency with a sustainable development.
