Abstract
Sýrie může posloužit za vhodný příklad rozvoje měst. Tato země se nachází v regionu, který je považován za místo zrodu městského rozvoje s historií přesahující období pěti tisíc let. Sýrie, centrální organizovaný stát, podporuje zejména dvě metropole, a to Damašek a Aleppo. Je těžké najít město podobné Aleppu - takové, ve kterém jsou propojeny ekonomické a architektonické složky v jeden celek, a to už po tisíce let. Aleppo bylo podmaněno mnoha civilizacemi, které se nezbytně podepsaly na městském a architektonickém rázu. Město bylo inhibováno různými národnostmi, obecně rozdělitelnými do tří náboženství, jehož stoupenci spolu žili v harmonii a podíleli se na spolupráci s cílem zlepšení životních podmínek. Město bylo vždy schopno zachovat kontakt s vnějším světem. - Ten město také ovlivnil, stejně jako okolní svět byl ovlivněn jím. K tomuto bylo přispěno zejména díky schopnosti obyvatel utvořit vhodné podmínky ke komunikaci s okolím.
Syria is one of this example. The country located in a region which considered to be the place of the birth of urban development, with a history of more than 5000 years. Syria, a central organized state, supports in particular the two metropolis Damascus & Aleppo.It is difficult to find a city like Aleppo in which economical and architectural activities joined together for thousands of years. Aleppo was conquered by many civilizations which left their traces in the urban and architectural character of the city. Aleppo was inhibited by different nationalities that belong to three religions. They lived harmoniously with each other and cooperated to improve living conditions. The City was always able to keep in touch with the external world. It both influenced it and was influenced by it. This is due to the ability of its population to communicate with it.
