dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a model-based method of electronic expansion valve feed-forward control for the automotive vapor compression refrigeration system. The model of the refrigeration system was assembled and the equation for expansion valve effective flow area was then derived. The computation of the expansion valve opening ratio is based on the system model and correction controller. The presented approach of expansion valve control was implemented on a test bench and successfully verified in real operation.en
