dc.description.abstractA three-dimensional multiresolution frequency domain (MRFD) method is established to compute bistatic radar cross sections of arbitrarily shaped dielectric objects. The proposed formulation is successfully verified by computing the bistatic radar cross sections of a dielectric sphere and a dielectric cube. Comparing the results to those obtained from the finite difference frequency domain (FDFD) method simulations and analytic calculations, we demonstrated the computational time and memory advantages of MRFD method.en
