Abstract
Řešená parcela se nachází v Brně na místě bývalých městských hradeb, přímo na hranici historického centra a novodobé zástavby. Řešené území zahrnuje parcely číslo číslo 1574, 1573/3, 1573/4, 1573/5, 555, 556/21, 537/2, které se nachází na nároží sevřeném ulicemi Milady Horákové a Koliště. Místo je od centra města odtrženo ulicí Koliště, která je součástí malého městského okruhu, čemuž odpovídá i její provoz. Budova galerie doplňuje prstenec kulturních staveb okolo historického jádra města. Naproti parcele se nachází park, který je v součastné době revitalizován. Stavba napomáhá svým členěním pohledovému propojení osy třídy Kapitána Jaroše a parku Koliště. Svým tvarem vtahuje kolemjdoucího do svého středu-vstupu do galerie.
Solved plot is located in Brno on the former city walls, right on the border of the historical center and modern buildings. The area includes parcel number 1574 1573/3, 1573/4, 1573/5, 555, 556/21, 537/2, which is located on the corner of a narrow street Milady Horakove and may fluctuate. The site is cut off from the city street Koliště, which is part of a small ring road, which corresponds to its operation. The gallery building cultural buildings complements the ring around the historic city center. The site is located opposite park, which is currently the revitalized. Construction helps its articulation axis linking pohledovému Class Captain Jaros and park fluctuate. Its shape draws passers-by to its center-entrance to the gallery.
