Aim of this paper is to show the possibilities of interpreting the constraints while using finite control set model predictive control. Paper explains the problem of the barrier functions and shows typical example. New possible candidates to barrier function are introduced in this article. All candidates are tested on the problem of the finite control set model predictive control of the PMSM drive control.en
