dc.description.abstractThis paper deals with issue of static grant allocation. The main goal of this paper is to present functionality of NG-PON2 networks and describe static form of grant allocation. The first part of the paper is focused on development of passive optical networks. Subsequently Next-Generation Passive Optical Networks and simulation in OPNET modeler are described. In modeler own designs of node and process models are used.en
