dc.description.abstractThe following work deals with power-to-gas, an electric energy storage technology that converts excess electricity produced mainly by renewable energy sources to synthetic natural gas. A model in OpenModelica is further presented. The model consists of a photovoltaic plant and its connection to the electric grid, as well as a model of electrical energy storage in batteries for purposes of comparison.en
