Abstract
Konceptom riešenia ja rozdelenie funkčného využitia domu do dvoch viditeľne odlišných hmôt, ktoré vzájomným prelínaním zároveň definujú okrem seba samých aj verejné priestory a prieniky k nim. Jednotlivé funkciou odlišné hmoty plynule postupujú a navzájom sa dopĺňajú. Dom vyplňuje nárožie, a dodržiava tak ucelený charakter zástavby v okolí. Nerobí tak však na úkor verejného priestoru, ktorý je umiestnený vo vnútri parcely. Pozýva do neho rozľahlý prienik fasádou. Ten sa symbolicky zmenšuje pri prechode do poloprivátneho priestoru určeného rezidentom. Vo vnútrobloku, prístupnému komukoľvek, sa nachádza priestor pre posedenie, terasu reštaurácie či kaviarne, ktorá môže poslúžiť ako stage pre usporiadavanie rôznych menších kultúrnych či hudobných akcií. Parter domu obsahuje služby, prenajímateľné obchodné priestory... Výraz domu taktiež v sebe prepisuje jasnú rozdielnosť jendotlivých funkcií. Relatívne mohutnú hmotu obytnej časti sa snaží odľahčiť rímsami, ktore pôsobia akoby jednotlivé podlažia levitovali na veľkých doskách. Korunná rímsa domu naväzuje na okolitú zástavbu aj napriek kombinácií rôznych výšok podlaží pre bývanie a administratívu.
The concept of this problem is division of the house into two distinctly different materials, which also defines interpenetration except themselves and public spaces and penetrations to them.
