dc.description.abstract	Abstrakt: Pamiatková ochrana na Slovensku sa koncentruje na „klasické“ monumenty kultúrneho dedičstva (hrady, zámky, historické centrá miest). Jej zreteľu unikajú práve industriálne stavby, ktoré sú významným dokumentom vývoja národa v európskom kontexte počas obdobia industrializácie. Tieto stavby však často stoja aj na okraji spoločenského záujmu vzhľadom k charakteru brownfieldu. Kedže veľká časť tohto kultúrneho fondu sa nachádza v súkromnom vlastníctve, je často komplikované objekty chrániť. Je však v záujme zdravého vývoja spoločnosti chrániť kultúrne dedičstvo ako artefakt vlastnej identity. Práca monitoruje súčasné prístupy pamiatkovej ochrany ako na Slovensku tak vo svete a predkladá alternatívne prístupy k ochrane industriálneho dedičstva.	cs
dc.description.abstract	The protection of monuments in Slovakia is mostly concentrated on „classical“ examples of cultural heritage (castles, historical city centers). It is not paying much attention to industrial buildings, which are important documents of national development in European context from the era of industrialization. These buildings are often also on the edge of public interest, due to their brownfield character, what places then into the great risk. Because many of these buildings are in private hands, it is often complicated to define the protection policy. It is in the interest of healthy development of society to protect cultural heritage as part of its own identity. The thesis is monitoring approaches to protection of monuments in Slovakia, as well as in global context and offers alternative approaches in terms of protection of industrial heritage.	en
